Dennis Bloomfield

Dennis Bloomfield, Director (2010-2023)
Dennis Bloomfield was director of the Bellevue Community Band from 2010 to 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Ball State University and studied at the VanderCook College of Music. Mr. Bloomfield formerly taught instrumental music at John Glenn Junior-Senior High School in Walkerton, Indiana and Centerville High School and Middle School in Centerville, Indiana. Mr. Bloomfield started and directed the Walkerton Community Band and is the former conductor of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Division Band at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Dennis played percussion in the Bellevue Community Band prior to becoming director and has arranged music for several bands.
